What is a rural fence?
Rural fencing is often about containing livestock, but may also involve:
defining boundaries,
providing security/controlling human access
excluding unwanted wildlife
protecting native habitat
keeping pets contained
Generally that means wire of some kind under a fair amount of tension, with very strong end post assemblies to maintain that tension, and smaller posts in between. It might also use posts with rigid horizontal rails, or a combination of rails and wire.
Usually this type of fence is used in rural areas (outside urban/suburban/built-up areas) such as on farms, but can also be used for:
lifestyle blocks
larger town blocks (e.g. Thurgoona Park)
blocks bordering parks or other green spaces
anywhere a more open/less obtrusive style of fence is desired
reduced cost compared to some other styles of fence

I can, it's up to you.
You may have a relationship with a rural or steel supplier, and you may get a better price than I can. Plus you can control cash flow and delivery window directly. BUT do please consult me to make sure you're getting the good stuff.
I can supply materials, note I don't aim to make money from materials. I'm GST-registered so farmers/businesses can claim back the GST component of any materials I supply.
Stock Yard construction (I haven't spent much time working stock, and it's better left to bigger operators).
I don't do much welding
Domestic fencing such as colorbond, panels, pool fencing, etc (domestic fencing jobs over $5000 require a building trade qualification). 'House yards' on rural properties are generally fine, as are smaller rural-style jobs in town or town fringe.
I haven't done any timber post-and-rail (yet!)
